HUNTING ALCOHOL RIFLE

You might be thinking that homemade rifle isn't eligible to shoot far. But with proper and neat handwork you can produce a long range shooting rifle. This rifle that I made myself can shoot up to 70 meters approximately. The bullet can travel in a straight line for at least 40 meters and then it may start bending and slowing down.

The material used is PVC pipes or metal pipes. For joints epoxy glue is used to stick different parts together. Actually the concept of this rifle is explosion in a air tight tank that gives thrust to the bullet. So,  make sure the tank you do is air tight and capable of withstanding high pressure. Ball bearing or marble can be used as bullet.
Methylated (denatured alcohol) is sprayed in the tank and the vapor is ignited by electric spark.

For shooting accuracy you may buy a rifle scope to fix on your alcohol rifle. I've used my rifle to hunt jungle fowls,  squirrels, birds and waterhens.
