Long Rowing

This is a story of how I lead a kayaking race expedition to Bunga Mas 6. Our expedition were joined by 5 other kayaking members (all seniors), by which only 4 were racing using kayak, and the other 3 as judges on a laser boat.

It was an intense race, but alas, I won.

We awarded ourselves with pats in our backs for completing the very exhausting race. We then slowly paddled ourselves back to the jetty. Though it was exhausting beyond words, it is a pleasurable experience to engage in a common interest with some other very interesting seniors who had sailed the very seas for over 12 months. It was wonderful to hear their sailing stories (especially from the guy in blue).

Me as a leader

Ekspidisi mandi di air terjun yang diketuai oleh saya. Saya bersama rakan-rakan melakukan aktiviti tersebut untuk aktiviti persatuan rekreasi di sekolah menengah. Pengerusi persatuan itu tidak lain dan tidak bukan ialah saya. Idea itu dikemukan oleh ahli persatuan dan kami semua setuju kerana ainya merupakan aktiviti terakhir kami di sekolah.Saya sebagai pengerusi menguruskan semua kertas kerja untuk dihantar pada pengetua dan alhamdulillah diberi pelepasan. Saya sangat bahagia kerana usaha saya untuk menjayakan aktiviti tersebut telah membuahkan hasil. Bukan itu sahaja, keseronokan meluangkan masa-masa terakgir bersama kawan adalah yang terbaik dari ladang...cukup perkongsian saya disini sebagai ketua dalam menjayakan ekspidisi yang mantop.

My cricket team was selected to play a state level tournament during June 2019.

On that particular day, my team captain was suffering from injury and team members made me as a captain to captain the team for that particular match.

I was the youngest among them, but still they chose to captain the team.

Captaining a cricket team is not that easy, we must have experience and good coordinated command over the team members, though being the youngest member of my team, I had no choice but to captain them and win the match to advanece to next round.

I had to chose bowlers to bowl their overs during particular time of the advancing match.

I had to make tough decisions during the last five overs, I observed that the opponent team were not good against spin bowlers and I brought my spin bowlers into attack and it worked. We took some early wickets and reduced their score.

Now batting which is a big deal, I had to send my team mates in a orderly manner according to the condition of the ongoing match. I did reverse thinking of sending middle order batsmen into the top order because the score to chase was very low,  as our bowlers performed well during bowling.

I actually inspired this method from our Indian Captain MS Dhoni when he did this is a match against Zimbabwe.

At least finally we won the match and advanced to the next round. I was praised by my team mates for my bowling attack. 

MY SELF EXPERIENCING A LIFE AS A LEADER

MY LIFE AS A LEADER

When i was 8 years old. i started to play and learn hockey from a hockey coach who was a national hockey player in the late 80's. His coaching has brought a lot of us to represent for school, district and even for state. I had a chance to represent my school as a right defender in MSSD in 2015.2016 and 2017.  Moreover, i have gained a lot leadership skills by studying in ALAM and also joining in RESERVED OFFICERS TRAINING UNIT(ROTU).

Myself As A Leader

This is a story of me gaining leadership experience in my past. At my high school, I was the leader of my batch. There was a lot of programs that I involved in during the time. Besides that, I also was chosen as a captain for my school softball team. I lead the team for two consecutive years. The first year we were at second place and the second year we won the first place with the total of nine school competing. There are a lot of things that I learned by being a leader.

I studied at Royal Military College when i was in form 4 and form 5.There i became a rankholder during form 5.I became the junior under officer as a quatermaster for my company which was Echo company. I was given the duty to organize the things or stocks given to my company. I was also given the duty to take care of my juniors. I was happy to do the job as it made me become a responsible and dedicated person. My juniors were very obedient as they always follow my orders. I had a great time with them and my batchmates at Royal Military College. These makes me into a person who am i today where i can lead a group of people in any matters. Some of my juniors who i lead before still in contact with me and they still respect me.Everyone is a leader in their own way.We should find out about our capabality in leadership quality and use them to become a great leader in our life.

MYSELF AS A LEADER

Assalamualaikum,

Today I will be sharing on my experience about my leadership in leading my teammates in winning on Basketball Championship on 18th of February 2019 in the ALAM Sport Month sports.

I was assigned by my teammates to be the Captain of the team due to my role as mastermind of the team and I am a supportive person.

Before the match starts, I was brainstorming the ways that our team could defeat our opponents without exhausting our energy excessively because we have to prepare our energy for the upcoming match.

The total of players allowed to be in the match is 5 by 5. I take the role as the centre position due to my agility and size to steal the ball stealthily.

My teammates are Pavithran who take the role as the attacker and assisted by Luqman who is high in height. Zularshy and Ridhwan are the one who stands at the defender side of the court to stop any attacking by the opponent side.

During our first match, I told my teammates to go all out towards our opponents to make their spirits go down. It turns out successively due to they are scared to Luqman and Pavithran's attacking style.

Then, my team managed to climb until the final stage where we have to face our senior team. It was an intense match where all of us go all out our energy to our last. It was so intense that we had to extend the match time due to same power of ball expertness control.

Minutes after minutes we all shed our blood, sweat and tears, the match reaches it climax stage. All of us was so exhausted like we all are gonna faint. But unfortunately, my team lose to the senior team due to my team lost at the height part. All of my teammates were giving their best but I guess it was not our luck to win the match.

After the match ends, both of our team were shaking our hands as a sign of appreciation to the even gameplay. Me and my teammates were very satisfied with the results and experience we all had as a teammates that are giving our best to win the match.

So, that's all from me, I hope that me and my teammates can compete as a teammates to the upcoming sport month here in ALAM.

Journey to become a leader

Assalamualaikum, 

I just want to share the experiences as a MRSM students. But now, im not a MRSM student anymore.. This story happened 4 years back.

Actually f4, I still hold the post as the head of the block until the July. On that time,  the Student Disciplinary Council on that session was disbanded. All excited to  take LDP form. but we know, to be a leader not only in clothes but the responsibility is the most important. student and academic welfare must perform both. I want to fill out the form, but I'll challenge myself if I'm brave enough to be LDP. I'm not challenged. so, I'm sure I am satisfied and fill out the form. Then, the manifesto sessions. Finally, the election. Students' time will select their leaders. On the manifesto session I had to attend the leadership convention in MRSM Gemencheh. after a week, the decision was issued. ALHAMDULILLAH I was elected as a LDP and I chose to be LDP president. I'm afraid and nervous as the biggest post. confirm the trust is great experience for me to train my self as a I always said myself "prove it that you can be the best president even people do not believe in your ability".

A couple of years ago, in the wake of moving to my mid adolescents, my friends and I chose to take a trip out for hiking more. At first, most of my youthful friends would complain about it been tried and lazy "do we need to go?" After a couple of long periods of taking them consistently on the ends of the time, the whimpering advanced into, "alright, fine! Which trail are we going to and how long is the trail?"

Regardless of the way that despite everything they don't guarantee that it's their preferred activity, when we're on the trail, they ordinarily appreciate the experience.I found that hiking isn't just incredible exercise, and great for the mind, but at the same time it's a fabulous method to find out about our leadership skills.

Choosing who is the trail chief (the individual that strolls before the gathering) dependably swings in to a fascinating discussion with my friends . While interceding and instructing my friends about driving the gathering in hiking. I began understanding that I was encouraging them how to develope their  leadership skills by being one. Here I learned that how being a leader has brought  me up to state where i choose a career  based on it and how they may apply to my career.

A LEADER IN MYSELF

  Today I am going to write about my moments as a leader. My leadership skills started when I was in primary school. I was a proud librarian. I felt like a leader, when I was able to assist, and direct the other students in library. That was the moment when leadership skills started to grow in me.

  Then, I went to secondary school and got promoted to be a librarian too. So, in total I was a librarian for 8 years. Then in secondary school I took the responsibility to lead few students in robotics competition. I became runner up in ROBOWARS COMPETITION in the national level.

Then,I participated in AEV COMPETITION held by MyRobotz for 2 years . Then , I became champion in district level for 2 successive years. I guided my teammates who had less knowledge on the competition and helped them to succeed. That's what a leader does right?

 Now, Im studying at Malaysian Maritime Academy. i have attained a lot of leadership skill here too. i would say every student in Malaysian Maritime Academy is a leader. we are trained to be leaders every single day. I hope one day I can be a leader in maritime industry         ..

LEADERSHIP IN ME

Assalamualaikum and greetings to all,

So today I'm going to tell about my leadership experiences and what I discover from being a leader.To be honest,I'm not much of a leader and i lack the skills to control the crowd as I usually not speak up in front of a crowd but instead I prefer talking personally. Back to the story,it was when I'm in my secondary school,(SBPI SABAK BERNAM) hehe...I was elected by my senior that was abang Adham (former dorm leader) to take his place to become a dorm leader as he was focusing for his SPM .I was form 3 at that time and I was quite shocked because the seniors usually picks form 4 to take their place but I was happy to gain the trust.During my days,I would delegate the task to clean up the room evenly (sweeping the floors to form 1,shoes and towel to form 2,tightening up the curtains to form 3,clearing rubbish to form 4).I was actually very strict,one day the seniors played football inside the dorm so I kick the ball to ground floor(from second floor lol) but they did not get mad at me because the seniors are close to me as I always teach them to play Dota.

Next,when I'm in from 4 i was elected by my teacher to be the secretary for the school co-op committee.I had to do the schedule to segregate the duties for the member,doing the paperworks for projects and some more.This tought me how to approach the higher ups as I always need to see the Principal for approval of projects.Being the secretary,I learned how to handle the loss when the business is not good such as by doing promotions.My favourite moment as the co-op member is selling nasi lemak on saturday morning while chilling with my friends.

My experience as a leader

  Hi guys, jadi unuk 'entry' kali ini saya nak' share' dengan korang tentang pengalaman saya memegang jawatan sebagai seorang ketua.


 Sekolah Rendah

Semenjak dari zaman sekolah rendah bermula pada darjah tiga saya pernah dilantik menjadi sebagai seorang pengawas pusat sumber, itu merupakan pengalaman terawal saya memegang dan menjalankan tanggungjawab sebagai seorang pengawas walaupun ianya hanya sebagai seorang pengawas pusat sumber saya merasakan tugas tersebut tetap melambangkan sikap seorang 'leader' dari segi aspek penjagaan pusat sumber.
 
Sekolah Menengah

Menjejakkan kaki ke alam sekolah menengah saya masih dapat memegang jawatan sebagai seorang pengawas pusat sumber daripada tingkatan satu hingga tingkatan 3. Bermula dari tingkatan 4 hingga tingkatan 5 saya berpindah ke Maktab Tentera Diraja, di sana saya dapat memegang jawatan sebagai 'IC' atau 'Incharge' untuk kelas saya. Saya juga sempat  memegang jawatan sebagai AJK kelab Nasyid dan AJK kelab silat olahraga semasa saya menuntut di sana.

Institut Pengajian Tinggi

Selepas menamatkan zaman persekolaham, saya meneruskan pelajaran di (UPNM) Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia selama dua tahun sahaja. Sepanjang melanjutkan pelajaran di sana saya sempat memegang jawatan sebagai ketua platun 3 iaitu sebagai ketua kumpulan.

 Setelah dua tahun di sana saya berpindah dan melanjutkan pelajaran di ALAM (Akademi Laut Malaysia) dari Julai 2017 hingga sekarang. Di sisni saya diberi kepercayaan untuk memegang jawatan sebagai 'Platoon Leader' atau sebagai ketua kelas.
